General Roles & Responsibilities by Department:
1. Medical Professionals (Doctors, Surgeons, Specialists)
Conduct patient examinations and assess health conditions.
Diagnose illnesses and prescribe treatments/medications.
Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Perform surgeries or procedures when required.
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
Participate in medical research, case studies, and CME.
2. Nursing Staff
Assist doctors during medical procedures and patient care.
Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient care areas.
Educate patients and their families about ongoing care needs.
Respond to emergencies and follow established protocols.
3. Receptionist / Front Desk Executive
Greet and assist patients and visitors.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
Handle billing and insurance documentation.
Maintain patient records and update databases.
Provide accurate information regarding services.
4. Lab Technician / Radiologist
Collect and analyze medical samples (blood, urine, etc.).
Operate diagnostic machinery (X-rays, ECG, MRI, etc.).
Maintain lab equipment and safety standards.
Report test results to physicians in a timely manner.
5. Pharmacist
Dispense prescribed medications accurately.
Counsel patients on dosage, usage, and side effects.
Manage stock levels and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
Maintain inventory records and expiry tracking.
6. Housekeeping / Maintenance Staff
Clean and sanitize rooms, equipment, and public areas.
Manage biomedical and general waste disposal.
Perform routine checks and maintenance on hospital infrastructure.
7. Administrative Staff / Manager
Oversee day-to-day operations of the clinic/hospital.
Coordinate between departments for smooth workflow.
Manage budgets, procurement, and vendor relations.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and policies.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Educational qualifications vary by role (MBBS, BSc Nursing, Diploma in Lab Tech, etc.).
Relevant certifications or licenses as per regulatory standards.
